PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
Pendulum (formerly Whole Biome) // 2018-2020
As the leader of an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) project with the Customer, General Contractor, Electrical Subcontractor, and Electrical Engineer for a design-build main service electrical upgrade, finalized site plans and all other required design documents for PG&E approval. MC Energy also managed sourced PG&E qualified underground contractor to implement a difficult install that included multiple load side and line side transformers.
Veritas Investments // 2015-current
MC Energy manages the entire infrastructure program for the largest landlord in the City of San Francisco, overseeing asset acquisition through completion of over 100 PG&E service upgrade projects.
Treasure Island/Yerba Buena Island // 2016-2019
Coordination of the PG&E applicant design process for the entire T.I. Development, including scoping and managing special projects during the geotechnical improvements and overseeing the programming, design, and placement of the new gas regulation plant on the Island.
UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay // 2012-2015
Management and coordination of five project teams across the $1.5B UCSF Medical Center, managing entitlements, risk analysis, schedule review, cost control, virtual design, construction coordination and estimating.
Responsible for the IT and Clinical Engineering coordination, all campus site work including the 4th Street Plaza redesign, Mission Bay Development Group’s infrastructure and obligations, as well as the off-site developments per the Agreements with the City and MBDG, alternative energy (i.e., Solar PPA) for Medical Center use, and oversight of the LEED-AP certification with the UCGBC.
Stanford Hospital and Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital // 2008-2012
Project Management Consultant on multiple capital improvement projects for existing facilities as well as the infrastructure improvements that include the $1B program to expand Lucille Packard’s Children’s Hospital and the New Stanford Hospital (NSH) as well as managing multiple renovation and infrastructure projects for each hospital.
Saaid Moezzi
Principal
Upon graduation from the University of Arizona in 1991 with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering, Saaid went to work for a perennial ENR top 25 EPC firm, Chicago Bridge and Iron, where he was trained early on in a program that focused on collaboration between designer teams, builders and clients. Saaid left the industry to work in various roles in marketing and business development in the high-tech industry before returning to the Real Estate and Construction industry in 2004.
In 2008, Saaid started his own Project Management firm (im2 Management) and created MC Energy in 2015 to focus on assisting clients on PG&E projects (electric and gas upgrades) for renovation and ground up construction projects.
